After a close experience with negligent medical malpractice, Hope dedicated her life to finding justice for other victims of negligent persons, professionals, and institutions while giving clients more accessible and personal legal representation.
Juris Doctorate, Florida International University College of Law – Magna Cum Laude, Dean’s List all Semesters
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, Florida International University, Miami FL
Hope earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from Florida International University. She then graduated Magna Cum Laude, from the Florida International University School of Law.
After law school, Hope worked on catastrophic personal injury cases, including the unprecedented 2021 Champlain Towers Collapse in Surfside, Florida. In this incident, a 12-story beachfront condominium unexpectedly collapsed, causing mass casualties while injuring many others. She also worked on the FIU Bridge Collapse in Miami-Dade County, where the 174-foot-long pedestrian bridge collapsed while under construction and claimed the lives of six people. In both cases, Hope worked for the Plantiff’s leadership teams, representing many of the injured and their survivors.
In 2022, Hope continued her career by leaving the “big law” model behind and founded Soto Law. She created the firm with one goal: to offer powerful, clear, hands-on advocacy while getting clients the compensation they deserve.
